Modern elites use a shared visual “language” (icons, hand signs, colors, numerology, and ceremonial imagery) to signal status, coordinate in-group identity, and shape public perception—often tracing back to older fraternities (Templars, Freemasons) and Enlightenment-era secret societies (Bavarian Illuminati). Some of this is demonstrably real (rituals, documented symbolism); some is cultural pattern-matching. The question is how much of it is coordinated influence vs. coincidence.
